Starting the year with a Bang
2010 was a great year for Sentia. With the release of the new Kazaa site along with a huge list of other projects including iPad apps for Telstra and Football Federation Australia our team also grew in size.
This year is looking like things will only be getting better. We have already started a number of new iPhone / iPad apps for clients which should be hitting the store in the coming weeks but also have a few pretty cool projects coming up, ill keep you posted.
Sentia is now a heroku and EngineYard partner which has been a great experience.

Sentia gets another developer
In relation to the recent post l made about Sentia looking for another developer, we are very happy to announce that we have found our next Sentia team member Robert Matesic.
Robert is a talented dev keen to learn and will be joining our experienced team of devs and working on such projects as http://Kazaa.com.

Sentia playing host for Hack Night
Sentia is happy to announce we are hosting the next Hack Night for the Rorosyd group. The night is being tailored to helping out people who are newer to rails with the use of mentors. Sentia is also providing along with the use of its office space the beer for the event which we all know helps the code flow easier.

Ruby on Rails Developer
Sentia is looking for a Rails developer to join our team. Min 12month contract or perm available with good rates dependent on experience.
You will be working out of our office on George Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD. You will have access to the latest technology and resources not to mention our foos ball table.
You will be working on Altnet.com / Kazaa.com with a well established team on a high profile project
You will need to have the following skills and experience.
- A passion for development
- 12+ months experience in rails
- TDD experience
- Git
- Good HTML/CSS skills
- Haml / Sass
- Jquery
- Good communication skills
- Keen to learn with a great attitude
- iPhone development skills a plus
Experience with agile methodologies and design skills a bonus.

We have moved…
We have been lucky enough to grow in these tough times and have moved to a new office. Luckily there was a great space 1 level up in the building we were already in all 100sqm of it.

Sentia is extremely happy to announce that we have a Web Interface Designer starting with the team. James Santilli is coming on board to handle our clients design needs and will bring his keen eye for design across all of our services.
