Overview
Ubigroup built Ubicar with the premise that people constantly have their own personal driving assessment tool with them, their smart phones. Ubicar uses GPS, telematics, phone sensors and user participation to measure driving skill and consequently determine an accurate price for a participant’s insurance policy.
The app functionality that allows Ubicar to monitor and evaluate driver performance against other drivers integrates backend data from at least 10 other service providers, all at the same time. Ubicar is the hub which allows processes of data to occur across systems and communicates back to the user in real time. This kind of build requires know how to check bottlenecks don’t occur and seamless systems.
