Overview

Opel Mobile provides personal safety devices like the SafetyPendant and SmartKids Phone to support the wellbeing of older adults and children. To extend the usability of these devices, Opel Mobile engaged Sentia to design and develop a native mobile app that puts control in the hands of guardians and caregivers.

The Guardian app connects directly with Opel’s smart devices, enabling real-time SOS alerts, fall detection, GPS tracking, and health monitoring. For parents, the app also includes tools to manage the SmartKids Phone, such as geofencing, screen time control, app management, and emergency contact settings.

Sentia delivered the solution as native iOS and Android apps, focusing on a secure, user-friendly experience for caregivers and family members. The platform ensures peace of mind through real-time data visibility, intuitive device pairing, and seamless remote management.
